This varies per project type, but typically 40-50% of your total quoted amount will be requested up front before any work starts, then we get into a payment plan.
For most projects, a payment covering all work done so far will be needed before all assets and/or site ownership is handed over.
Everything will be outlined in our contract so you’ll know all your specific details before we begin!

Yes! For every web project, we do our best to track how much time it takes to execute different components, and use that information for all proposals moving forward. We give a range that also allows some wiggle room for a few extra requests and ideas that might come up later in the process. Note, however, that the accuracy of this range depends on how much of your desired content (this means text, sections, any cool elements/effects) you show us, so it’s always best to tell us as much as you can up front.

You’ll receive a form that’ll ask you for everything we need to get started. (In some cases we might even send parts of it to you in the inquiry stage to help us put together a proposal)
Usually, we like to ask up-front about the visual style(s) you like. For web project inquiries, we need to know how many webpages you want and specific features your site needs (shop page, blog pages, interactive features, etc.)

A major part of our design philosophy is that content drives design. We can mock up a super-cool design & layout all we want, but if it doesn’t fit the stuff you want on the site, it still wouldn’t be the best option for any of us. This could potentially lead to delays in the process or additional cost.
Of course we’ll still make some suggestions on strategic information flow but the overall message and communication goal is crucial to have in early stages.

You’re always welcome to request LARO Studio to make any updates to the website we completed together, availability permitting. We’ll honor the hourly rate we gave you for up to 6 months after project end; after that, you’ll be given our most updated rate. Please note that if major changes have been made to your site by someone outside our studio, it may affect our ability or time taken to make the requested updates.

Yes! Web clients will be given screen-recorded tutorials so you’ll know how to work through some of the more complex custom-built features on your site.
