Ginger Q is an LA Latinx artist who works with sculpture, large-scale installation, neon forms, & digital media. Her commercial work can also be seen on campaigns by Apple, Netflix, Nike, and more.

The Ask

The client wanted a portfolio website that would be easier to update than her previous website, minimal enough to give her pieces center focus, while also having enough edge and flair to match the level of her art and exude the same personality that is manifested in all of her pieces.

The result

A Squarespace website with custom-built sections that aligned perfectly her visual identity established by GAA Design, with a dotted grid system, hover effects, and a balance between rigid grids and unstructured overlaps.
